ODL Corporate Finance specialises in raising money for companies in the natural resource sector, with a heavy focus on mining, oil and gas primarily in emerging markets. We also act as nominated broker for a number of AIM listed companies.
During the past four years, ODL has raised over US$200 million for Energem Resources Inc. (and its subsidiaries), a corporate client involved in diamond mining, upstream oil and gas, ethanol production as well as a plethora of other resource projects across Africa (TSX listing). In addition, ODL has raised funds for a number of companies involved in diamond mining in Guinea; copper projects in The Philippines, Namibia and The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), as well as oil and gas projects in Nigeria. Furthermore, we have raised over US$200 million for Equator Exploration Limited (oil exploration offshore West Africa) including the £60 million associated with the listing on the AIM market in December 2004, and in November 2005 listed Max Petroleum on the AIM market following pre IPO and IPO financing's which together raised around US$80 million.
